Students in Mrs. Larissa Hebert’s AP classes were challenged to write editorials for the Mercury -set to be published on February 21- and delivered some great material.

The students were given topics to choose from to write a 450 word editorial.

Hebert then selected the top three to four editorials from her second, fifth, sixth and seventh period classes.

They were then forwarded to the Mercury to be looked over and voted on anonymously.

The overall winners were as follows:

Period Two: Julia Grismore (‘18)

Period Five: Marissa Needleman (‘18)

Period Six: Matthew Legrand (‘18)

Period Seven Jared Sparr/Camille Gunter (‘18)

The overall winner was Sparr with a piece on prosthetics in sports.
