Home Alone” starts off with a family eating dinner and packing for their trip to Paris. The family ends up leaving one of the kids, Kevin, alone at just seven years old. Two burglars end up trying to rob the house while Kevin is home alone. Kevin brings the smart and fearless kid he is with takes on the two thieves and makes them look like fools after making them run through his house of traps.

“Home Alone” is my favorite Christmas movie. The main reason for my love for the movie is definitely the traps, but I also like the way Kevin thinks in the movie; he is very smart with how he does things.

My favorite scene in the movie is when Kevin scams the pizza delivery guy by using the TV to act like he is an old man shooting at the pizza delivery guy, which ends with Kevin getting a free cheese pizza. I love the scene because it shows how smart he is and how creative he can be with his mind while home alone and free from the restriction of his parents.

My favorite character is Marvin, one of the burglars, because of how dumb he is at points and the times he gets hurt. My favorite scene with Marvin is when he gets hit in the face with an iron.

In all, I love the movie, and I watch it every Christmas. I love everything about the movie: the characters, the dialogue, the plot, everything is just great and I think it is the best Christmas movie of all time.  If you haven’t seen it, you need to watch it this Christmas, and I encourage that you watch it with your family.
