On April 27 at 9:22 a.m., Bellows Free Academy World Language teacher, Kristi Waite, gave birth to Everleigh Quinn Johnson. She weighed 4 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 inches long.

Everleigh comes from a family that has long been a part of the BFA community.  Waite’s husband, Marc Johnson, graduated from BFA in 2005.  Johnson’s mother, alumna Paula Johnson (’73), also taught French at BFA for 18 years.

According to Waite, “[Everleigh] is healthy and happy, so we were very blessed to avoid the NICU given her slightly early delivery and smallish size.”

Waite added that the family is now home, doing well and Everleigh has already regained her birth weight.
