Staff goodbyes: Jeff Rouleau
June 13, 2018
How long have you worked at BFA?
18 years.
Can you briefly list your teaching duties, and other activities you have been a part of?
I have worked in the Science Dept. teaching Earth Science, Biology, Environmental Science and Ecology. I worked one year in the Math Dept teaching Algebra. I have coached girls ice hockey, assisted with cheerleading and have MCed the homecoming pep rally. I served on various school committees including advisory and school improvement.
What do you like best about BFA?
The family atmosphere with my colleagues and the selflessness and empathy our students display everyday.
Can you share a memory of your time at BFA?
There are so many but two of my fondest were the days our student body selected Kyler Lemery to be the homecoming king and Rachel Costes to be the homecoming queen. Those were 2 days that the true spirit of BFA community shined so brightly.
What would you like to leave behind?
I hope that what I have left behind is a spirit of service to one’s community, concern and caring for all those around you and that you can learn or do anything if you’re willing to work for it.
Where are you going next and what are your plans there?
St. Albans City School as the Science Teacher on one of the 7⁄8 teams.
