The holiday season is approaching upon us quickly. Last year, BFA/NCTC staff and faculty donated an immense amount of food to our BFA/NCTC families. BFA/NCTC was able to deliver food to 25 families over the winter break.  The winter break is a long one, as we all know. Many BFA/NCTC students rely on the food they receive at school, and two weeks is a long time without access to this resource. Coupled with the pandemic, students need help now more than ever. So far, BFA/NCTC has 50 families in need.

You may drop non-perishable food donations off at Ashlie Olio’s office in guidance or Christine Trombley’s office in the North Building.  The Freshman Student Council will be assisting in this year’s project as well.

Deliveries to families will be made on Dec. 23, and the deadline for donations will be Dec. 22 to prepare them for delivery.

“Love is not patronizing and charity isn’t about pity, it is about love. Charity and love are the same — with charity you give love, so don’t just give money but reach out your hand instead.”
