It is no secret that Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans has many talented students, and, even during times like this, there are still opportunities for those students to let their abilities shine.

The most recent example is Aria Garceau (‘21) and Nathanial Cobb(‘21), two BFA musicians, who were chosen to perform at the prestigious 2021 Vermont All State Music Festival.

According to BFA band teacher Eric Bushey, both students “prepared and recorded” their solos “with their own private teachers” this year.

Bushey said the Festival will not be taking place in its normal format this year due to the Coronavirus.  He added that it “will be a virtual festival” on May 15.

The BFA Music department is, “particularly proud of their accomplishment this year, especially because it required such personal drive and dedication,” Bushey said.
