The Mercury sat down with Catherine Lamb. Lamb is a new instructional coach for teachers at BFA.
Lamb works with teachers to help them meet their professional goals and also works with teachers to create educational support plans for students who may need extra support at school.
Lamb recently moved to BFA and had worked in the Maple Run Unified School District t for three years. “The job that I had ended, and this job at BFA opened. I felt it was a good fit for me with my experience and professional goals,” Lamb said.
Lamb’s last job was as an instructional coach at Fairfield Center School. Before that, she was a classroom teacher at Browns River Middle School in Jericho.
“This is a very big school with a lot of people. I like it a lot. I like all of the people that I work with, and I feel like my work is appreciated,” said Lamb.
Lamb is looking forward to a new school year with her new and supportive colleagues.
