This year, the BFA staff welcomed a new member to the English department, Andre Morin.
Morin grew up moving throughout Vermont, Paris, and Montreal, though he attended BFA through his entire high school experience. After graduating, he attended McGill University in Montreal, where he studied English literature for a year before going abroad to continue his studies at the American University of Paris. After his year abroad, he worked as a paraeducator before getting his master’s degree and teaching English to grades 5-8.
Morin is excited to be back at BFA, and is enjoying adjusting to his new role. He found the transition back to BFA to be smooth, even though he is kept busy.
“Right now, I’m still kind of getting used to everything, and I’m feeling very busy,” Morin said.
Even though his new position has been busy, Morrin expressed that everything has been quite wonderful.
“Some of my teachers are still here, who I had. They’ve been really helpful,” Morin said.
Morin also brought to attention that it is beneficial that not much has changed, and he knows his way around quite well. Morin is doing extremely well and is fitting back into the BFA community wonderfully.
“It’s nice to be back,” Morin said.
