Will the Bobwhite continue their hot streak in the upcoming tournaments? Is their determination strong enough to lead them to victory at the end of the season? In the first tournament, the team finished fourth out of 14 schools, with only the top 6 teams advancing. Despite the pressure to win and secure a spot in the next tournament, the team’s unwavering determination was evident, giving hope for their future success.
The team started the season with a bang, showcasing their strength and determination at their first tournament on Sept. 4. Playing at Ralph Myhre CC, the team finished at 2nd place with a whopping score of 184. This strong start to the season has set a promising tone for the team’s future performances. The team’s lowest scorer for this tournament was Gavin Benoit, who had the lowest score of 42. They then proceeded to their next tournament on Sept. 9 at Rocky Ridge CC, finishing again in 2nd place with a combined team score of 184.
The lowest scorer was Ethan LaPlume, who shot the score of 44. Most recently, the Bobwhites played at Basin Harbor on Thursday, September 9th, and won it all. The team scored a combined team score of 168, edging Mt.Mansfield by three strokes with Gavin Benoit, the teams lower score, yet again with a low score of 32.
Although the team has had a great start to the season, the team prepared for an upcoming challenge at Champlain CC tournament on September 24th. As the season progresses, will the Bobwhite continue their streak, and is it hot enough to win it all?
